The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy

I got to see The Hitchhiker's Guide to the Galaxy today! :) It was so great. A friend of ours got pass for six of us to go. It was great fun! Everyone should go see it. The dolphin song at the begining was great! I don't to give away much. The best part was when the ship turned into a ball of yarn and everyone inside turned into knitted dolls! I am so going to recreate it! :)

new sewing machine!

I got a sewing machine! My grandma is cleaning out her house and moving to a smaller one. She also gave me my great grandmother sewing machine and a spinning wheel. I don't have the space for them right now but they will be moving in soon... :)

The pretty yellow case!

Puppy was very bad last week. I opened my knitting bag to work on my brothers scarf and there was only one needle, with the yarn on it, thank God. I thought I had just left it at my house, but I was wrong. Boy found this under the bed....

Puppy got in big big big trouble. She loves sticks and I should have been more careful...

lack of knitting... 2

There is still a large lack of knitting. I have knit for 10 mins in the last 2 weeks... How sad is that? Very, I think. I plan on working on my brothers scarf cause is birthday is the 6th of April. I hope to get it done... I hope you all are having fun knitting! :)

lack of knitting...

I haven't been doing much knitting. Things have been crazy. I have been sick and away from home with out my knitting. *gasp* I know it is a crazy idea, considering that I always carry some knitting project with me. I did knit on my friends green scarf. We decide that we would knit in sections so it would look striped. I knit much looser then she does. I think it will be fun!

I have also been busy working on my other site layouts. They aren't open but will be soon.

I went to the doctor yesterday and she put me on some meds for my anxiety. So far I feel more at peace, but more drugged up then I like to be....

mom's scarf

It has been so beautiful and sunny. It seems silly to be working on scarfs... So there has been quite a lack of knitting. So here is my mama's scarf! More Homespun but this is Cobalt. CO 19 sts, then knit. I am also working on an adult hat. We will see how it goes and get some pix....

a scarf for daddy

This is the first scarf I ever started. I wanted to to be for my dad becuase he needed it. I started it Aug. 2004. I CO 35 st and knit forever! I had to take a few breaks from knitting it because it to so long to make one row! I felt very bad for my pop.

Mom jokes that the reason the weather has been so nice here is because I finished my dads scarf! I am also the reason we had so little snow... That made me very sad!

The reason I added the hole was so I wouldn't have to make it 2 feet longer and so it would be easier for my dad to wear. He has Cerebral Palsy. With the hole he can get it on and not worry about it falling off. My sweet father loves it. I am glad, but I don't think I will try to make this scarf ever again!
